Information you enter for a reading

When you choose “Ask a Question” mode, the text of your question is sent to a third-party AI service (see “Third-Party AI Services” below) so it can generate your reading. We do not store this text on our servers, do not associate it with your identity, and do not use it for any purpose other than generating the reading you requested in that moment.

Analytics data

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and which country or device they are using. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you by name. Google Analytics may use cookies to collect this information. See “Cookies” below.

We do not collect or require:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number
  • An account, login, or password
  • Payment or billing information
  • Your exact location (only general, non-precise data such as country/region, via Google Analytics)

Third-Party AI Services

To generate your tarot reading, Tarot Reading World sends the following information to a third-party AI provider (currently Google Gemini, with OpenAI as a backup option):

  • The topic or question you selected or typed
  • The card(s) you drew and their orientation (upright or reversed)
  • The “listening mode” you selected (Compassionate, Direct, or Objective)

This information is processed by the AI provider solely to generate the text of your reading and is returned to you in real time. We do not control how these third-party providers process data on their end beyond what is described in their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing:

We do not knowingly include personally identifiable information in the data sent to these providers, and we ask that you avoid entering personal details (such as your full name, address, or financial information) in the question field.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies placed by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and understand usage patterns. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling cookies will not prevent you from using the tarot reading tool — it only affects our ability to measure site usage.

We also use your browser’s local storage to remember your language and light/dark theme preference. This information stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.

Children’s Privacy

Tarot Reading World is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the Site, please contact us so we can address it.
